DNR Altitude is a 20-storey, 1 million square foot Grade-A commercial tower on a 4-acre site in Yeshwanthpur — targeting WiredScore Platinum, SmartScore Platinum, IGBC Platinum, and WELL Gold certifications. WiredScore Platinum is not a checkbox. It is an independent audit of a building's digital infrastructure — cabling quality, routing resilience, WiFi coverage design, and the documentation that proves all of it. Most people picture network infrastructure deployment as something that happens after a building is finished. You move in, you call a cabling company, they run some cables. A 20-floor Grade-A commercial tower doesn't work like that — and Hines, with their global experience in landmark developments, knows exactly how it works:

  • Cabling goes in before the walls close: Once a floor is plastered, painted, and fitted out, retrofitting structured cabling means breaking walls, pulling up floors, and redoing finishes. Cables Before Walls. Cameras Before Construction Ends. Both at the Same Time.

Phase 1 kicked off in March 2025 with the two things that had to happen while the building was still under active construction: Cat6A structured cabling across all 20 floors, and temporary external CCTV across the entire construction site. Both running simultaneously. Both coordinated with the construction programme. The cabling went floor by floor as each level was handed over by the construction team — no floor finished without its cabling infrastructure already in place. The CCTV covered the site perimeter and key zones from day one of Phase 1 until the last day of construction.

Cat6A Floor-by-Floor — Sequenced with Construction

Layerix's cabling team worked floor by floor, in step with the construction programme — entering each floor as it was ready for services, installing horizontal Cat6A runs, cable trays, and distribution points before walls were closed. No rework. No cabling over finished surfaces. The right way to do it in a live construction environment.

Fiber Vertical Backbone — Riser Installation

Fiber optic vertical backbone installed through the building's riser at Phase 1 stage — when the riser is accessible and before tenants arrive. Fusion spliced and OTDR-tested at every floor distribution point. The backbone that will carry data from every floor switch to the main MDF for the life of the building.

Temporary Construction CCTV — Full Perimeter

External IP CCTV cameras deployed across the construction site: building perimeter, site entrances, material laydown areas, and key personnel access points. Round-the-clock surveillance on a development site of this value — protecting materials, equipment, and the workforce throughout the build. Once construction wrapped, every temporary camera was removed cleanly.

WiredScore Evidence — Cabling Documentation from Day One

Fluke DSX CableAnalyzer test reports generated as each floor's cabling was completed — not at the end of the project. With the passive cabling infrastructure commissioned and tested, October 2025 brought the active network layer online. Enterprise WiFi access points deployed at RF-designed positions across every floor, managed switches at each floor distribution point, and core and distribution routers configured for the multi-tenant architecture that a Grade-A commercial building of this scale demands.

Enterprise WiFi — RF Designed, Not Guessed

Access points deployed at positions designed for 38,000–40,000 sq ft floor plates — not placed based on ceiling tile convenience. Channel planning applied to prevent co-channel interference between floors. The WiFi that a WiredScore Platinum building needs is not the same as the WiFi that a 2,000 sq ft office needs. Floor plate size, occupancy density, and multi-tenant SSIDs all factor into the design.

Managed Switches — VLAN, QoS, PoE at Every Floor

Enterprise-grade managed switches installed at each floor's distribution point — VLAN segmentation configured so tenants' traffic is isolated from each other and from building management systems. QoS policies applied. PoE ports powering APs and other IP endpoints. Phase 3 is ongoing — and by design. As each floor is handed to fit-out teams and tenants begin their occupancy, Layerix continues to support the network infrastructure: commissioning, testing, adapting to tenant requirements, and building the WiredScore Platinum evidence package that DNR Altitude's certification depends on. This is not a "we installed it and left" engagement. Layerix is the network partner for this building — through construction, through fit-out, and through tenant occupancy. Tenant Network Commissioning — Floor by Floor

As each floor is handed to tenants and their fit-out teams begin work, Layerix commissions the floor-level network — verifying cabling, testing switch ports, validating WiFi coverage in the fitted-out space, and providing the port-level documentation each tenant's IT team needs. The network is ready before the tenant moves in, not after.

WiredScore Platinum Documentation Support

WiredScore Platinum requires evidence: Fluke test reports, network design documentation, resilience architecture, and future-readiness proof. Adapting to Tenant-Specific Requirements

Enterprise tenants in a Grade-A commercial tower do not all have identical IT requirements. As tenants are confirmed and their fit-out specifications arrive, Layerix adapts the floor-level network configuration accordingly — additional VLANs, specific QoS policies, supplementary AP positions for high-density meeting rooms. Once construction was complete, every temporary camera was removed cleanly — no residual hardware, no cable debris, a completely clean handover.
