THE CHALLENGE

A Branch Office Has Enterprise Needs Without an Enterprise IT Team.

A branch location — a bank branch, a retail outlet, an NBFC office, a restaurant franchise, or a service centre — is not a simple extension of the headquarters. It needs reliable WAN connectivity, local network security, surveillance, access control, and communication systems. But unlike the HQ, there is no IT team on-site when something fails. Every system must work reliably, be manageable remotely, and be repairable fast when it does not.

🔗

Reliable Connectivity to HQ

Every branch needs a stable, secure connection to the central network — with failover when the primary link drops.

🔒

Security With No IT Staff On-Site

A branch is a target precisely because there is no one watching the network. Firewall, endpoint, and monitoring must work automatically.

📷

CCTV and Access Control at Every Branch

Each location needs cameras, access logs, and entry control — managed centrally, not independently per branch.

📊

Centralised Visibility Across All Branches

A head office IT team managing 50 branches cannot visit each one. Everything must be visible and manageable from one platform.

🔧

Fast Resolution When Something Fails

When a branch goes down, productivity stops and customers are affected. Response time and remote fix capability are not optional.

OUR SOLUTION

One Architecture. Deployed Consistently. Across Every Branch You Have.

The most common failure in multi-branch IT is inconsistency. Branch 1 was set up differently from Branch 12. The firewall at Branch 7 is a different model from Branch 23. When something fails at Branch 44, no one knows the configuration because it was done by whoever was available at the time. Layerix solves this with a standardised branch architecture — designed once, deployed identically at every location, monitored centrally, and supported by the same team across every site.

THE STANDARDISATION ADVANTAGE

Why the Same Architecture at Every Branch Is Not a Constraint — It Is a Strategic Advantage.

When each branch was set up by a different contractor at a different time, your IT team manages fifty different configurations, fifty different equipment lists, and fifty different failure modes. Troubleshooting takes longer because nothing is predictable.

Layerix designs a standard branch architecture — agreed with your IT team once — then deploys it identically at every location. Same firewall model. Same switch configuration. Same Wi-Fi platform. Same camera placement logic. Same documentation format. When something fails at Branch 37, the engineer who responds already knows the layout.

⏱️

Faster Rollout

A standardised design deploys faster at each new branch — no redesign, no re-scoping, no new drawings.

⚙️

Consistent Configuration

Every branch device is configured identically — monitored, updated, and managed as a fleet, not as individual sites.

🔧

Predictable Fault Resolution

An engineer attending any branch already knows the architecture. No time spent discovering what was installed.

OUR PROCESS

How a Branch Rollout Actually Works — Whether It's Your First Branch or Your Fiftieth.

01

Standard Architecture Design

Before the first branch is touched, we work with your IT team to design and agree the standard branch architecture — equipment list, configuration templates, network addressing plan, and documentation format. This is the blueprint every branch is built from.

02

Site Survey per Branch

Even with a standard architecture, every branch site is different — floor size, cabling route, power availability, and landlord constraints. We survey each site before deployment and adapt the standard design to the physical reality.

03

Infrastructure Preparation

Cabling, rack installation, power, and conduit — the physical layer completed and tested before any active equipment arrives at the branch.

04

Active Systems Deployment

Firewall, switches, access points, cameras, biometric terminals, and phones — installed, configured from the standard template, and tested for connectivity back to HQ.

05

Remote Management Onboarding

Every branch device enrolled in the central management platform — cloud Wi-Fi dashboard, CCTV viewer, and firewall management accessible from HQ before the branch opens.

06

Handover & Managed Support

Branch documentation delivered, local staff briefed, and managed support activated — Service Manager for account governance, Break Fix for incident response when required.

THE LAYERIX DIFFERENCE

Why IT Teams Choose Layerix for Multi-Branch Rollouts.

📋

One Design. Deployed Everywhere.

We build a standard branch architecture with your IT team once — then execute it identically at every location. No variation. No surprises. No quality differences between sites.

🚫

No Subcontracting at Any Branch.

Whether we are deploying Branch 1 in Bengaluru or Branch 47 in Gujarat, the same Layerix in-house team executes the work. No regional subcontractors with different standards and different documentation.

📡

Remote Monitoring From Day One.

Every branch device is enrolled in a central management platform before the branch opens. Your IT team sees every device, every alert, and every performance issue — without visiting the site.

Faster Rollout With Each Branch.

The first branch takes the longest — design, documentation, and templating. From Branch 2 onwards, the architecture is proven and the process is efficient. Branch 20 deploys faster than Branch 1.

📄

Consistent Documentation Across All Sites.

Every branch gets the same documentation format — IP address list, equipment inventory, network diagram, and admin credentials. Your IT team can open any branch's documentation and find what they need immediately.

🎧

One Support Contact for Every Branch.

Under a Service Manager engagement, one named Layerix contact manages every branch under a single account — incident tracking, SLA reporting, and vendor coordination across your entire branch network.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions — Branch Network.

Can Layerix deploy the same network architecture across all our branches regardless of size?+
Yes — and this is the core of what we do for multi-branch clients. We design a standard architecture with your IT team once — covering the equipment list, network configuration, addressing scheme, and documentation format. Every branch is then deployed from this standard, adapted only for physical site differences like floor size and cabling routes. The configuration is identical across every location.
What happens when a branch network fails and there is no IT person on-site?+
Under a Layerix Break Fix or Service Manager engagement, your branch raises an incident through a defined channel — phone, email, or portal. Remote triage begins within the agreed SLA (as fast as 2 hours for critical failures). Most branch issues are resolved remotely. Where on-site attendance is required, an engineer is dispatched within the SLA window. Every incident is resolved and documented.
Can you manage Wi-Fi and firewall at all branches remotely from a central dashboard?+
Yes — remote management is standard on every Layerix branch deployment. Firewalls are enrolled in a central management platform. Access points use a cloud Wi-Fi controller. CCTV is accessible from a central viewer. Your IT team, and the Layerix Service Manager if engaged, can see every device at every branch from a single dashboard — without visiting any site.
How long does a single branch deployment take?+
A standard small branch deployment — cabling, firewall, Wi-Fi, and CCTV — typically takes 1–2 days for installation and 1 day for configuration and testing. From Branch 2 onwards, the configuration is templated and the process is faster. We provide a per-branch timeline as part of the rollout planning.
Can you handle branch deployments in multiple cities simultaneously?+
Yes. Layerix is operationally active across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, with pan-India delivery capability. For large rollouts across multiple cities, we plan deployment batches — coordinating survey, procurement, and installation schedules across all locations with a single project plan.
Do you provide a site-to-site VPN between branches and HQ as standard?+
Yes — site-to-site VPN is standard on every branch firewall deployment. Traffic between the branch and HQ is encrypted in transit. We configure and test the VPN tunnel before the branch goes live, including failover to a secondary WAN link where required.
Can you integrate with our existing HQ network and IT infrastructure?+
Yes. We assess your HQ network before designing the branch architecture to ensure compatibility — addressing scheme, VLAN design, firewall policy, and management platform. Branch deployments are designed to connect seamlessly to your existing HQ infrastructure, not to replace it.
What network documentation do we receive for each branch?+
Every branch receives: IP address allocation sheet, equipment inventory with serial numbers, network topology diagram, firewall rule summary, Wi-Fi configuration record, CCTV camera layout map, and admin credential record. All documentation follows the same format across every branch — so your IT team finds the same information in the same place, regardless of location.
Can the branch network support both POS systems and general staff Wi-Fi on the same infrastructure?+
Yes — and they must be separated for security. We configure dedicated VLANs for POS traffic, staff Wi-Fi, and guest Wi-Fi, with firewall policies preventing POS devices from being accessible from other VLANs. This is standard for retail and hospitality branch deployments.
Can you add new branches to an existing rollout without redesigning the architecture?+
Yes — this is the specific advantage of the standardised approach. Adding a new branch means surveying the new site, adapting the physical installation to the building, and deploying from the existing configuration template. No redesign. No re-scoping. The new branch is added to the central management platform and monitored from day one.
Do you provide attendance management as part of a branch deployment?+
Yes. Biometric attendance terminals are a standard component of many branch deployments — particularly for retail chains, banks, and franchise businesses managing shift-based staff. Attendance data is centralised, integrated with HR or payroll platforms where required, and provides tamper-proof records across every branch.
What is the minimum number of branches required to engage Layerix for a standardised rollout?+
There is no minimum. We work with single-branch businesses and 200-branch enterprises. For a single branch, we deploy a complete, well-documented network that is ready to scale. For multi-branch rollouts, the standardisation investment pays back from Branch 2 onwards — in faster deployment, consistent quality, and easier ongoing management.
