Project Scope — Copper, Fibre & Network Equipment Infrastructure
Layerix delivered the complete installation across the listed data networking and telecommunication systems. The work brought together Cat 6A data outlets, the fibre-optic backbone, termination and patching hardware, distributed network racks, network certification, CCTV and AV cabling.
- Data outlets: 900 Cat 6A RJ-45 information outlets and 900 two-metre patch cords.
- Fibre backbone: 2,450 metres of 12-core OS2 single-mode armoured fibre-optic cable, with adaptors, patch cords and termination panels.
- Patch panels: 15 CommScope modular panels across 24-port and 48-port configurations.
- Equipment locations: 13 network racks, including floor-standing, indoor wall-mounted and outdoor wall-mounted configurations.
- Additional systems: network scanning and certification for 500 points, CCTV installation/configuration/ support for 114 units, and HDMI cabling.

Installation Delivery — From Passive Cabling to System Integration
The completed work covered three connected packages: structured copper cabling, fibre and rack infrastructure, and network certification/CCTV/HDMI cabling.
Establish the copper data outlet layer
Layerix installed the Cat 6A data outlet and passive cabling infrastructure, including patch cords, British-style faceplates, standard Cat 6A 4-pair cable and armoured Cat 6A cable for the listed work areas.
